Today’s PPA Challenge is to create a Breast Cancer Awareness Card. I’m dedicating mine to my Pal Kris Kilcoyne’s mom Karol who is battling this disease right now. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Karol and Kris.
This month, I celebrated reaching my 10th-year anniversary of being cancer-free from breast cancer. This was a good time for reflection and to figure out just what I’ve been doing and thinking for the past ten years since not one day goes by when you don’t think about having had breast cancer.
I love the Note to Self Stamp Set and thought it was time to write a note to me that just might help other women as well. My card is very simple today so I don’t feel it’s necessary to take you through each step as to how I created it. More importantly, it’s a reminder for women everywhere to take care of themselves – in body, mind, and spirit.
Those breast exams and mammograms are nerve-wracking, but they’re extremely important. So, please follow through with them and take care of you!
And please feel free to visit the Pals Paper Arts site and play along in this Breast Cancer Awareness Challenge. There's tons of great blog candy being offered this week and we'd love to see you there!
In good health for all, Gina
