Oooh! A KISS Challenge at PPA! Won’t you play along with us? Although I have not figured out exactly what my forte is at making cards yet, the one thing I do know is that I love creating them! Hopefully, one day, I will discover my cardmaking style and fly with it, but in the meantime, I love every minute of experimenting. I only wish I had more time to practice.
I created my KISS card with a newborn baby boy in mind. I love anything in the color blue (my house is filled with cobalt blue Depression glass and lighting fixtures)! I started with Bashful Blue cardstock. Then I ran a piece of Not Quite Navy cardstock through my Big Shot Die-Cut Machine using my Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Die to add dimension to my card and used my Corner Rounder Punch to round those corners!
You probably all know by now how much I love white against any color. So, I ran my Embosslits Scalloped Heart of Hearts Die through my Big Shot Die-Cut Machine using Whisper White cardstock. Before I adhered the heart to my card, I placed a Bashful Blue Satin Ribbon on my card and adhered the Scalloped Heart to it with a Pop-up Glue Dot.
And what is any baby if not a “Small Wonder”? The perfect sentiment from my Little Angel Clear Block Stamp Set, stamped in Not Quite Navy on Whisper White, punched out with my Scallop Oval Punch, and adhered with a Pop-up Glue Dot. Simple, simple, simple!
Thanks for stopping by. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave me a comment.
